Overview
Brief Description
Scottish Government offers fully funded Scotland Pakistan scholarships for female students pursuing Masters/ MS/ MPhil degrees in Pakistani universities. The aim of the scholarships is to make higher education accessible to women in the country. the scholarship is offered for a maximum period of two years. Female students enrolled in any HEC recognized university across Pakistan may apply for the scholarship.
The last date to apply for Scottish graduate scholarships is September 15, 2021. Applications can be submitted to British Council. The application can be submitted online by filling the online form. Scholarships are offered in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM Fields), Sustainable Energy, Healthcare Sciences, Food Security and Agriculture and Education programs.

The Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls Scheme covers the followings :
- Tuition fees
- University hostel costs
- Travel to and from home to university two times a year for students staying in on-campus hostels
Subjects areas for Scotland Pakistan MS MPhil Scholarship
The scholarship is offered for 2 years MS/MPhil degree at an HEC-recognized Pakistani university in one of the following subject areas only:
- Education
- Sustainable Energy
- Food Security and Agriculture
- Health Sciences
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics)
Eligibility Criteria for Scotland Pakistan MS/MPhil Scholarship 2021
These scholarships are open to female applicants only.
In addition, applicants must:
- Be Pakistani nationals currently residing in Pakistan
- Be pursuing a two-year master’s degree in the above-listed subject areas
- Hold a confirmed admission offer from an HEC recognized university in Pakistan
Young women with disabilities, from rural areas and/or minority groups are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply for Scottish scholarship for MS/MPhil
A complete application will include:
- A duly filled out application form
- Scanned copy of CNIC
- Scanned copy of transcripts
- Proof of admission and/or enrolment at the master’s level
- Tuition fee form
Applications for the Scotland Pakistan Scholarship for Young Women and Girls Master's program are now open. Last date to submit the application is 15 September 2021
