Postdoctoral studies at IIU

A fellowship program for international postdoctoral scholars is being offered at the International Islamic University Islamabad.

IRI International Postdoctoral Fellowships will provide Pakistani and foreign postdoctoral fellows with a yearlong opportunity to acquire knowledge of the latest research techniques, skills, and methods as well as a non-residential training program in a conducive academic environment.

It is intended to prepare a team of qualified researchers who are able to conduct contemporary Islamic research across Islamic Studies, Humanities and Social Sciences, languages.

Eligibility Criteria for IIU International Fellowship

A doctorate in any field of Social Sciences and Humanities (Islamic Studies, Quranic Studies, Hadith Sciences, Sirah, Sharrah, Islamic Laws and Jurisprudence, Islamic History, Islamic Culture, Islamic Thought, Philosophy, Tasawuf, Literature, Political and Economic Thought, Law, Comparative Study of Religions, Education, Arabic, Urdu, and other Pakistani languages).
