HEC Scholarships for Balochistan & FATA 2023
Overview
Students from Balochistan and Formerly Known as FATA can apply for a Postgraduate Scholarship offered by the Higher Education Commission Islamabad. Students can apply for MS/MPhil degrees at colleges recognized by the HEC. Under the project "Provision of Higher Education opportunities for Balochistan and FATA students", scholarships are available for ALL programs and disciplines.
HEC's website accepts online applications. No hard copies will be accepted. The application deadline for the HEC Balochistan and FATA scholarships is December 19th, 2022.

Eligibility criteria for HEC Balochistan and FATA postgraduate scholarships

Balochistan / FATA local domicile certificates are required.

On the closing date, the maximum age is 35.

The applicant must have completed 16 years of education with at least a 60% grade point average.

Prior to the closing date, candidates must have obtained the required academic qualification.

Applicants who are already receiving HEC / Government scholarships are not eligible.

For admission to MS/MPhil programs, applicants must meet HEC and University eligibility criteria.
The HEC Scholarship for Balochistan and the FATA covers:

Each semester, tuition fee and other charges (including hostel fee) are limited to PKR 60,000/-.

Monthly living allowance of Rs. 10,000

6,000 rupees per annum for books.

An annual travel allowance of Rs.5,000.

One-time initial settlement allowance of Rs.10,000.
