The decision of school closure to be taken on March 24, Shafqat Mehmood

Shafqat Mahmood, the Federal Minister of Education and Professional Training, has announced that an inter-provincial education ministers meeting will be held on March 24 to discuss the reopening or continuous closure of educational institutions across the country in light of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases.

He stated that the meeting would be held at the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). Health experts from all six administrative units will inform the panel on the pandemic situations in their respective provinces to assist the NCOC and educational bodies in making an informed decision.
