NCOC to take major decisions today
Islamabad: As the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic appears to have escalated, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) will meet today to make significant decisions to control the unabated spread of the pandemic.

The single-day tally of new Covid cases surpassed 3,000 for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday. The NCOC tallied 3,876 new cases in a single day on Saturday, the highest number since July 2, 2020.

The NCOC will examine a plan to close schools that are currently open for examinations. According to a source, “Violations of the SOPs are being noted in many schools where exams are being taken.”
