KP to recruit hundreds of lecturers
The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for Higher Education, Kamran Bangash has announced that the provincial government will hire 1900 lecturers for the posts through Public Service Commission (PSC).
In an advertisement posted by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) the deadline to apply for the lecturer posts is 28 May. The vacancies are open in various faculties and subjects.

The initiative has been taken under the directives of the provincial Chief Minister, Mahmood Khan, as part of fill in the shortage of college teachers in the province. However, this step may add to the further burden of resources and finance on the provincial budget.

Bangash stated that employment opportunities are created on such a massive scale following Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision to offer Pakistan’s youth education and for their bright future.
