In the initial batch, 30 students from the Department of Social Work will be accepted. The students will be trained by the Peshawar Police Department to familiarize them with the policing system and to get professional experience that would benefit them in the future. To bridge the gap between the public and the police, the students will also promote a warm picture of the cops.
CCPO Peshawar, Abbas Ahsan, stated after signing the agreement that Peshawar Police is pleased to have collaborated with Peshawar University, and that working with Peshawar Police will be a fantastic experience for them.
