Sindh Government hired 50,000 teachers in a single recruitment drive
The Sindh government has initiated giving appointment letters to a number of newly hired teachers who were employed to address a teacher shortage in the province's public educational institutions.
In a ceremony held on Thursday at Lyari Government School in Karachi, Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah officially commenced the distribution of appointment letters.

Syed Sardar Ali Shah, speaking at the ceremony, stated that the Sindh government is the first and only provincial government in the country to hire 50,000 people in one recruitment campaign. He went on to say that the recruiting was done fully on merit and that no irregularities were discovered during the process, which was overseen by an independent recruitment firm.
