UET Lahore changes its Admission Criteria
University of Engineering & Technology UET Lahore updated its merit formula. Merit will be based on Matriculation, First year, and entrance examination marks. Due to the new guidelines, entrance exam marks will be given 30% weightage, matric marks will be given 25% and 45% will be given to the first year results. Students will, however, be required to score at least 60% marks in FSc to confirm admission.
Previously, merit was based on 70% of FSc marks and 30% of entrance test marks. But as FSc examinations are delayed due to the country's coronavirus outbreak, UET has therefore agreed to change its merit criteria. This will allow the students to confirm their admissions in time.
