School vacation may be extended till 15th August, Murad Raas

Punjab Government’s Education minister Dr. Murad Raas said that the school holidays could be extended until 15th August. He spoke in a TV show, where he said the student's and teachers' lives are very valuable to us. We cannot risk endangering the precious lives.

He said that the classroom is the same as a time bomb in this situation. There are more than 30 students in a class. He said if one student gets infected, then the virus will spread in no time. Therefore we cannot afford to start schools until things get better.

Dr. Murad Raas said this was the initial statement when answering a question about the announcement of the opening of schools on 1st June. Currently, schools are closed until 15th July, but given the current situation for the opening of schools, you can keep in mind that it can be extended until August 15.
