Punjab Govt announces exam schedule for class 1 to 8
Punjab Govt has released the exam schedule for classes one to eight. The examinations will be taken in stages to deter the spread due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
According to the announced schedule, the exams for class one to eight will be taken in May's last week.

The examination paper consists of 25 brief questions for 50 marks, each of which carries equivalent marks for a total of one hour.
Grade one and two students will be excluded from this pattern, as their examinations will be done verbally instead of written papers.
In a recent press conference, the Punjab Minister of Education, Dr. Murad Raas, said that the Punjab government was making all-out efforts in the middle of the pandemic to encourage school-going students.

Provisional dates for matriculation exams have also been declared by the Punjab education department, which will begin on 31 May 2021. Meanwhile, grade nine and matric exams from 20 May have been announced by the federal education department.
