PU makes an important announcement on fee and educational activities
The University of Punjab has slashed the fees by 20 percent in view of the current surge in coronavirus cases in the country.
According to the circular issued by the varsity, online classes have been postponed, local students have been asked to leave the hostel premises by May 5, whereas international students are allowed to stay on campus in compliance with COVID-19 protocols.

Earlier on Tuesday, the federal minister Shafqat Mahmood had issued directives for the private schools in Islamabad to slash reduce the fees by 20 percent owing to the recent coronavirus wave in the country.
As per the official notification, private schools are ordered to reduce the fees by 20 percent with effect from April 2021 till their reopening.

The notification has also requested the parents to pay the fees on time to help the institutes maintain their services in these pressing times.
