A large number of students want to give exams, Shafqat Mahmood
Last week, owing to the recent spike of coronavirus in the country, the Federal Education Minister had announced the cancellation of exams till June.
In a recent televised interview, however, the minister said that while a small number of students want exams to be canceled and want teacher-assessed grades, many students are calling and messaging me that they want to give the exams.

“I am receiving calls and messages of students who want to appear for exams as they have prepared for exams the whole year, those who do not want exams are very few,” said the minister.

While speaking about 50 lac students who are going to appear for the board exams, the minister said that these students have already been promoted without exams last year, “It is impossible to pass the students without exams this time,” he assured.
