KU offers free education, fee discounts to position holders
Karachi University (KU) has offered free education and discounts to the rank holders in commerce, arts, and sciences fields of its affiliated colleges if they chose Karachi University for their higher education.

According to a university statement, students who achieve the first position in the exams will receive free education. In contrast, students in 2nd spot will have to pay 25% of the fee, and the student with the third position will only have to pay 50% of the fee.
The university is also offering numerous grants. A "Candidates Admission Fund" has been set up to support candidates who cannot qualify for admissions because of their financial difficulties.

The fund objective is to provide an opportunity to continue their higher studies. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi said at a ceremony organized at the Vice Chancellor's Secretariat in honor of the BCom's position-holding students (Regular) Annual Examination 2019.
