PMC honors Peshawar Medical College with 150 slots for MBBS
The Peshawar Medical College (PMC), Peshawar has been recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission, Islamabad, with 150 seats in the first year MBBS program on the institute’s 15 years’ journey of success and achievements.
The matter was conferred in a press briefing presided by the PMC Dean, Prof. Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman, while the Principal Prof Dr. Aman Khan, Prof. Dr. Irfan, Dr. Iftikhar Hussain, and Prof. Dr. Saeed Anwar attended the briefing.

Dr. Hafeezur Rahman said the PMC established by the Prime Foundation is attributed to all national and international recognizing authorities.
Rahman said 1,038 doctors have graduated from PMC in 10 batches, whereas 481 medical graduates enrolled or finished post-graduation in elementary and medical sciences in the country and abroad.
He applauded that PMC secured an 89.67 percentage and was positioned in A+(Superb) rating in a countrywide assessment lead by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Commission, now, in July 2019.
Dr. Hafeezur Rahman commended the institute for securing the first position in the private medical colleges and second in both public and private colleges across the province.

The dean said PMC and PDC have established the Undergraduate Medical Research Department in institutes and conducted annual national research fairs and conferences regularly for the last 11 years.
The dean added that PMC and PDC are leading ten post-graduate programs (MPhil and Diploma) in almost all elementary medical themes and seven (M.Phil, M.Sc & Ph.D.) in rudimentary dental topics recognized by the related national specialists.
