PM Imran vows quality education for all
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that provision of quality education is one of the top priorities of his incumbent government.
Chairing a review meeting on measures to promote higher education in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the PM said that education is key to the development and prosperity of a country and its nation. “The government must ensure equal opportunities in higher education and basic education,” he added, urging on the implementation of merit and provision of facilities for teachers and students.
The prime minister was given a detailed briefing on the steps taken for the implementation of the roadmap for the promotion of higher education in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Participants were briefed on the future course of action for the educational sector while a detailed briefing was given on proposed measures for providing quality education in K-P universities.
