PM Inaugurates first Tele school channel in Pakistan
Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the Tele School Channel on Monday to provide education to students living in remote areas.
While addressing the conference the PM said that the objective of the Tele School Initiative is to provide education to students at their doorsteps during the lockdown.
The channel is an initiative of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and will be available to students via satellite, terrestrial and cable.
The timings of the classes on Tele School Channel will be 8 am to 6 pm and will cover the syllabus from grade 1 to 12.
The morning classes will focus on the junior section and will cover English, Maths, Urdu and General science lessons. The next session will cover all the senior classes and the subjects.
The Education Ministry has also developed a schedule for the channel according to the subjects and courses. The channel will start its transmission from 8 am today.
