Minhaj ul Quran given a status of a board
Minhaj-ul-Quran has officially been given a status of a board and will be acknowledged as Nizam Al Madaris Pakistan. An announcement regarding the progress was made by the Secretary-General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, alongside Allama Imdad Ullah Qadri.
Apart from the status change, the senior clerics conversed and discussed the reforms regarding religious education. The meeting stressed that the country needs to obtain restructured guidelines on religious teachings and reforms to overcome the issued posed by extremism, intolerance, sectarianism, and terrorism.

In closing remarks, the PAT secretary general applauded the government for establishing board seminaries across the country.
Minhaj Ul Quran, founded by Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in 1980, is now titled Nizam Al Madaris Pakistan, is a non-political, non-governmental organization (NGO) operating in more than 100 countries all over the world. Its main office is based in Lahore, Pakistan.
