A female student has topped her matric exam by scoring 1,100 marks out of 1,100
The Mardan Education Board on Tuesday announced the Inter and Matric result. a science student of Model High School Nowshera, set a record in Pakistan’s history by obtaining 1,100 marks out of 1,100.
The girl is an orphan child while her mother is serving as a government school teacher.
The BISE Mardan held a ceremony to give away awards to the position-holder student. Speaking at the prize distribution ceremony, She said her father died from cancer so she wanted to become a doctor to treat the patients suffering from the life-threatening disease.

Mardan board chairman also announced all the fees of boards would not be taken for the deserving student to acknowledge her accomplishment.
sharjeel Ahmad, Farhan Naseem and Mohammad Bilal Haider shared second position by taking 1098 marks out of 1100.
Around 70,532 students appeared in the examinations, out of which 68,854 were declared successful.
The passing percentage was recorded as 97.82 percent in the Matric exam while 96.48 percent passed the Intermediate exam.
