KP announces Rahmatul Lil Alameen Scholarship
Shahram Khan Tarakai, the KP Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, launched the Rahmatul Lil Alameen Scholarship for students from all districts, including recently combined districts.
A scholarship of Rs.25,000/- would be given to 7000 students, including girls and boys, over the course of two years as part of the project. For both boys and girls, a single quota has been established.
According to the quota, 10% of the scholarship will be granted to government employees up to Grade 5 and sports, 50% will be given on merit, and the remaining 10% would be given to needy indiviuals.
Admission to public sector schools and the achievement of at least 60% grades are prerequisites for applicants, and the same conditions will apply to pupils at the intermediate level.
Likewise, the candidate must not be receiving any other grant, and the distinction holding certificate must be shown.

A district list of the applicant will be prepared by the educational board, and a district committee led by a Deputy Commissioner (DC) will be formed for further verification of papers and delivery of the scholarship. Representatives from the education department, Baitul Maal, and the district Zakat committee will be among the other members.
