Govt announces final decision on reopening of Educational Institutes
The Federal and Provincial Education Ministries have announced September 15 as the final date for reopening all educational Institutes across the country.

The Inter-Provincial Ministry virtual meeting chaired by Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood was held today to brief the three-phased process on reopening educational Institutes.

The Health Ministry also proposed a three-phased plan on reopening educational institutes. According to the plan, in the first phase, grade nine, Matric, colleges, and universities would reopen on September 15, in the second phase, grade six to eight on September 23, and grade one to five would be able to resume schools after evaluating the Coronavirus situation in the country in the last phase.

The Chairman Higher Education Commission also attended the meeting.
