Government to launch an education radio channel for students, Says Shafqat Mehmood
Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said the government would launch a new radio channel to educate people affected by the closure of educational institutions after coronavirus lockdown.
Shafqat Mahmood made this announcement in the National Assembly while commenting on a request put forward by Babar Awan, Advisor to the Prime Minister asking on the Minister to brief the assembly on the pandemic situation.
The minister of education further added that last month the government introduced a teleschool on PTV. This teleschool offers education to grade 1 to 12 students daily from 8 AM to 6 PM for 10 hours.
