Female student in Mardan tops Intermediate Exam with 100 % marks

A female student of a private school in Mardan has secured 100 percent marks in the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) examinations, highest ever secured by any student.

The BISE Mardan held a special ceremony on Tuesday in the honor of position-holder students. That was when Qandeel, the girl who topped the intermediate board exams by scoring 1100 out 1100 marks, was introduced.

The BISE Mardan introduced Qandeel in a special award distribution ceremony for position holder students.  Qandeel had set a record of securing 1100 out of 1100 marks and topped in the intermediate board exams.

Qandeel, an orphan girl is the only female student across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, to have achieved 100 percent result in any board exams.

While speaking at an award ceremony, Qandeel said that her father died of cancer so she wants to become a doctor and treat patient suffering from the fatal disease. Qandeel’s mother is a government school teacher and supports her in pursuing her dream.

Other students from Mardan, Sharjeel Ahmad, Farhan Naseem and Mohammad Bilal Haider also received the awards in the ceremony.  The three students shared the second position by bagging 1098 marks out of 1100.

Meanwhile, the BISE Bannu also announced the results of the matriculation and intermediate examinations. Muzdalfa Bibi and Ali Mohammad Khan topped the exam by securing 1094 marks out of 1100 in the intermediate exams, while Fatima Jamshed got the second position with 1092 marks.
