AIOU announces financial assistance for deserving students
The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Tuesday announced financial assistance for some of its students when applying for admissions to the autumn 2020 semester.
In an announcement on Tuesday, AIOU said that they have allocated a handsome amount for funding the studies of poor and needy segments of society, to enable them to obtain a quality education and help them respectably earn their livelihood.

“We can bring social change in the society and AIOU being a national institution is working for the social and economic development of the society,” said Professor Dr Ziaul Qayyum, the vice-chancellor of AIOU. Rana Tariq Javed, the director of the Students Advisory and Counseling Services, the form for fee concession can be obtained from the varsity’s regional offices. They can also download the form from AIOU’s website, he added. The facility will be extended the poor, physically-challenged, prisoner, transgender and children of martyr students.

Students can submit application forms along with all other required documents to their respective regional offices by August 24.
