Dr. Arshad Ahmad appreciated the students and encouraged them to support society as they go forward. "It is a moment when the call for help is growing stronger, when economic and personal losses are becoming more apparent, and when social suffering and inequity are taking on new meanings."
Sharing her views on the event, Yousafzai said her experience taught her that change does not occur on its own and requires one to step forward, step out, and do something. She encouraged the students to support government to invest more in quality education.
The LUMS rector recommended that students consider innovative solutions to the problems when they move out into the real world.
