Educational institutes to reopen on January 11, says Private Schools Association
All Pakistan Private School Federation has announced on Monday that it would reopen schools from January 11 across the country.
The federation announced this hour after the decision of federal education ministry came to reopen all educational institutes phase wise from January 18.

While speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, the APPSF President Kashif Mirza said that “Coronavirus second wave didn’t hit Pakistan; it was rather brought to the country.”
He said that the massive rallies taken out by the opposition parties are the reason why the virus cases have uptick in the country. “Not a single country was locked down and only smart lockdowns were imposed in the entire world,” said Mirza.
He added that the time of student is wasted because of the single national curriculum. He said that government doesn’t have textbooks and that is why the education is being curbed under the garb of Covid-19.
Mirza also lamented that 70 million teachers have lost their jobs during the lockdown, “We will reopen schools across the country on January 11, which will be followed by reopening of colleges and universities.”

He said that online education is a “farce” and warned that a long march will be out in case of any opposition or arrests.
While speaking at a press conference, APPSF President Pervez Haroon also said that the new session would start in April and the exams will be held in March.
