22 ‘ghost teachers’ fired by the Sindh Government
The Sindh Education Department is taking effective steps against ghost teachers.
A notification for the dismissal of 22 teachers has also been issued by the provincial education secretary. No explanation could be given for the failure to perform.
According to the report, these teachers were absent from school for eight consecutive months while still receiving salaries.
Teachers from junior and high schools, as well as ghost teachers, have all been sacked.
