The future of four million students is at stake
The careers of over four million students in Punjab are in danger because exam schedules have been postponed once again by the education boards.
The Matriculation exams are almost a couple of months away. The 9 education boards, including the BISE Lahore, have yet to issue the date sheets for the Matriculation and Intermediate exams.

Secretary BISE Lahore shared his ignorance of the situation, stating that he had been given the Secretary's additional charge but had no knowledge of the problem.
"I don't know how the things run after COVID-19," said the Secretary, who is formally responsible for the academic affairs of the district's 500,000 students.
In the same careless mindset, the province's main education board is being run. Aside from the Secretary, Dr. Mirza Habib Ali, the BISE Lahore Chairman, was named on an additional charge a little over a week ago.
BISE Lahore was plagued by fraud and corruption during the previous government's tenure. In July of this year, a fire occurred, which resulted in the loss of records. Also, some board members are being questioned for leaking an analysis report.
According to the Ministry of Education's announcement, the Matriculation exams in Punjab will begin on 4 May, and the Inter exams will commence on 14 June.
