Students may approach the concerned boards for exam related queries, says Shafqat Mahmood
While the government has announced the “No-exam policy” for students across Pakistan, a lot of students are still confused about the criteria of promotions and new academic session.
The Minister for Federal Education, Shafqat Mahmood tweeted on Sunday that he has been receiving a lot of queries regarding individual cases of students regarding exam promotions.
“I want to inform everyone that at the Federal level we have taken broad policy decisions. For answers to Individual questions students may approach the concerned Boards”, he said in a tweet.
The direct queries to the minister on the tweet were from students who worked hard the whole year to improve their part 1 result. Most students stressed that the queries for improvers need to be answered, they also said that the policy needs an amendment for the improvers and repeaters. Some students requested the minister to promote all students and eliminate the condition of special exams for repeaters and composite students.
“Our total effort was to ensure fairness and help the students. Concerns of a vast majority have been addressed”, said Mahmood in his earlier tweet.
