Sindh reduces the duration of SSC and HSSC exams
The Government of Sindh has decreased the SSC and HSSC exams period from three hours to two hours for the 2020-21 academic year.

Speaking at a conference on Tuesday, Saeed Ghani, Provincial Minister of Education, declared that due to the pandemic, the exams' duration had been shortened and that the patterns of the examinations had also been adjusted accordingly.
“50 percent of the question paper will be based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs), while the remaining of it will comprise subjective questions – 30 percent long questions and 20 percent short questions,” he said.
The Minister also announced the updated examination timetable, noting that the SSC exams would occur between 1 July and 15 July. The intermediate examinations will take place between 28 July and 16 August.

In response to a question about coronavirus testing in government schools, Ghani reported that 7,000 college teachers had been tested, of which 233 were positive, and 1,506 test results are expected.
