Sindh announce new date for the beginning of academic session
All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association Chairman, Haider Ali has announced that the private schools will begin the academic session 2021-22 all across the province on Monday, August 9.
Assuring the SOP management in schools, the chairman said that 70 to 80 percent of academic staff has been vaccinated against COVID-19 and the schools will reopen following strict SOP protocols. He said that it is safe for students and school staff to attend on campus classes.

Furthermore, he said that the new academic session will begin with 50 percent attendance on the specified date. Students shall be attending schools alternate days, he added.
It is pertinent to note that all private and public schools are closed across the province including Karachi as there have been a major uptick in the coronavirus cases in the province.
Despite strict restraints and the lockdown, the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading fast in the province, especially in Karachi. The positivity ratio in the city has surged to 23.6 percent according to official stats by the government on Wednesday.
