Shafqat Mehmood visits schools to review implementation of SOPs
Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood visited different schools in Islamabad to review the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
"It is our collective responsibility to adhere to the precautionary measures against Covid-19," he said.

The visit was paid to the schools after Pakistan's Covid-19 tally jumped to 312,806 as the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) reported 543 new cases.
It is pertinent to note that in the third phase of reopening educational institutions across the country, primary classes resumed on Wednesday under strict Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The decision was unanimously taken during a meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
