Shafqat Mahmood: we will compete with a new variant of corona, and closing the school is a wise option
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has welcomed the decision to close schools for three days a week.
Talking to media, Shafqat Mehmood said that three days of simultaneous school closure in Punjab would reduce the fog and reap the benefits.
He clarified that examinations in schools would be held on time with full syllabus and this year students would not be able to get promoted to the next classes like last year.
He stated that Pakistan had done well in overcoming Corona in the past. The Federal Minister for Education said that some schools are facing difficulties in implementing uniform curriculum but we will fulfill this mission.
Committee has also been formed to control the fog. The committee is taking steps to curb emissions and imposes heavy fines on violators.
