Shafqat mahmood to promote technology driven education
On Monday, Federal Minister for Education & Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood chaired a meeting with Ed-Tech partners to support the country's technology-driven education.
Federal Minister said there are many typical barriers in the education the route that could only be disconnected by the use of technology.
Federal Minister stated that for the betterment of education, the public and private sectors need to work together.

Under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary Mohiyuddin Ahmed Vani, Federal Ministers have set up a committee to establish a framework and terms of reference for heading forward on this initiative.
The federal minister also praised the Ed-Tech firms that helped the ministry to establish tele-school content online, adding that the tele-school will continue even after school reopening.
Shafqat Mahmood said all previous 'adult education' models were abortive, and now a technology-based model is required for that reason. Similarly, a technology-based education system will assist in the production of online content, teacher training programs, rural area school development, and teacher and student supervision.

Federal Secretary Dr. Sajid Yusfani said that due to COVID-19 pandemic outbreaks & shutdown of school, Ed-Tech partners have paid their national duty by offering free online content to tele-school at the time of need.
