Shafqat Mahmood orders an increase in AJK's Kamyab Jawan Program quota
Shafqat Mahmood, the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, on Tuesday asked Syed Javed Hasan, the Chairman of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission, to increase the quota of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in the Kamyab Jawan Programme from 2% to 5%.
During a meeting with Minister Shafqat Mahmood to discuss education-related issues, he issued the orders at the request of AJK Education Minister Dewan Ali Khan Chughtai.
Chairman NAVTTC was also ordered by Shafqat to establish smart labs in AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan.
