Punjab implements Single National Curriculum in schools and Madrassahs
Punjab has enacted Single National Curriculum (SNC) at the primary level in all the public and private schools and madrassas across Punjab as the province begins the new academic session from Monday, August 2, 2021.
The announcement was made by the spokesman for the Prime Minister and the Special Assistant on Political Communication, Dr. Shahbaz Gill, who took to Twitter and announced the materializing of plan.
“Materializing the prime minister’s dream and most important agenda of the PTI manifesto has been started from Punjab.”

Earlier, the Minister for Education Punjab, Murad Raas had said that SNC will be enacted at the primary level from Pre-nursery to Class 5 in all the Public, Private schools, and Madrassahs all across the province effective August 2, 2021.
While talking at the ceremony in Lahore, he said that despite opposition by a lot of people with agendas and vested interests the government will not step back from the enactment of SNC.
The minister said that schoolteachers have been trained online through the Learning Management System (LMS) and the current government is developing technology to enable schoolteachers in implementation of the SNC.
