O / A Level Exams cancelled
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Cambridge international has cancelled all examinations in the world. The exams were set to take place in May and June 2020. Students will be graded on the basis of the skills and knowledge gained from the respective courses.
"We have taken this hard decision not to conduct our international exams in any country that usually happen in the month of May and June. This includes Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge O Level, Cambridge International AS & A Level, Cambridge AICE Diploma and Cambridge Pre-U", Said Cambridge International examination.
"The circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 epidemic is quickly evolving. Most of the countries have agreed to expand school holidays to May and June, rendering it difficult for several of our students to conduct tests. We have been working so closely with our global school network, who need as much certainty as possible at an uncertain time", Said Cambridge International examination.
“We would also give instructions to schools about how students are going to achieve those marks. We will talk to universities around the world about these unprecedented circumstances, so that students can continue their educational journeys as soon as possible. We will be trying to provide the updates as frequent as possible. We know that schools will need clear guidance and we are working extremely hard to provide meaningful results to students in all the countries where we work”, A statement issued by the Cambridge International examination.
