Notification for Recitation of Darood-e-Ibrahimi in schools has been issued

LAHORE: Punjab's School Education Department (SED) has issued a formal notice directing the reading of any Surah from the Quran-e-Hakeem and Darood Shareef during morning assembly in all public and private schools in the province. SED Punjab has issued directions to all of the province's District Education Authorities (DEAs) to ensure compliance. According to the notification, during morning assembly, all public and private schools in Punjab would assure the recital of any Surah from the Quran-e-Hakeem, Darood-e-Ibrahimi, and a prayer for Pakistan's success and prosperity before the National Anthem.
