KU extends deadline for entry test applications until Dec 2
The University of Karachi has extended the deadline for submission of the applications forms for the entry test online admissions 2021.
According to the statement issued by the varsity, the deadline has been extended until December 2, 2020 and will be applicable to bachelor's and master's programmes, Doctor of Pharmacy (morning and evening programmes), Doctor of Physical Therapy (morning programme), and the Department of Visual Studies.
The varsity has instructed students to get admission details, online admission forms, prospectus, and the guidelines for admissions from KU’s official web portal (www.uokadmission.edu.pk). The students can submit the relevant document and the paid fee voucher online on the varsity’s portal by December 2, 2020, said the statement.

For the bachelor’s programme, admissions are open in departments of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering, Commerce, Computer Science, Criminology, Applied Physics, Biotechnology, Business Administration, Education, Environmental Studies, Food Science and Technology, International Relations, Mass Communication, Public Administration, Petroleum Technology, Special Education and Teacher Education, and School of Law (LAT) at least 50 per cent marks are required in the entry test to secure admission.
Whereas, for the master’s programs, admissions are open in the departments of Business Administration, Criminology, Commerce, Mass Communication, Public Administration, and Pakistan Studies.

The university would conduct the entry test over the Karachi University Assessment and Testing Service.
The students planning to apply for the bachelor's programmes in the Department of Visual Studies (VS) must have secured 45 marks in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equal examinations. For the diploma holders, however, must have at least 60 marks to appear in the aptitude test for VS.
Moreover, the university has clarified that the students applying on self-finance basis or reserved seats are also required to appear and clear the entrance test. Otherwise, they would not be considered for admission.
