Islamabad schools and colleges to adopt e-filing system

The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) is planning to introduce an e-filing system in educational institutes, especially schools and colleges as the workplaces of the area education officers have been digitized already.

While speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the tree plantation campaign at Islamabad Model College for Boys (IMCB) G-7/2, FDE Director General Dr Ikram Ali Malik said that all area education offices have been computerized and in the second phase of the plan they are making efforts to introduce e-filing system in schools and colleges.

The DG also assured the teaching staff present at the event that they can communicate with FDE through email regarding any issue until the new e-filing system is initiated. The queries of teachers will be responded promptly, he added.

 “No need to waste your time in physically visiting the FDE as you is supposed to focus on teaching.”

The DG stated that FDE wants to resolve the pending issues of schools and colleges. The issues related to seniority list of teachers, promotions, pensions and numbers of other issues have been resolved already, he mentioned.
