Ikhlaqyaat subject to be replaced with Religious Studies
While speaking at a Diwali function hosted by the progressive Hindu Forum Karachi, Sindh education minister Sardar Shah wished the Hindu community a happy Diwali and then announced that the education ministry of Sindh plans to replace the "Ikhlaqyaat" subject with a religious studies subject.

The new subject aims to have more subjects related to minorities. Festivities such as Holi and Diwali would be added for minority students and can help to have a more inclusive curriculum that caters to the minorities of Sindh as well.
