HEC to conduct Law admission test (LAT)
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) conducts the Law Admission Test (LAT) for applicants seeking admission in HEC / PBC recognized institutions and their accredited, affiliated colleges. HEC Law Entry Examination will carry out in major cities across the country.
The examination date will be announced very soon on the HEC website. Whereas the last date to apply for the admission is 21 July 2020. You can submit your applications online on the HEC website. The HEC Law entrance examination is mandatory in any public or private institution and its affiliated colleges for admissions.
Eligibility criteria for HEC law admission test?
- Students who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent
- Students who have appeared in the final examination of HSSC or equivalent and their result is awaited
- Students who have appeared in 1st year exams of 2019 and waiting for the result of 2nd year exams 2020 which was not held
Any revision to the exam date will be conveyed via Education testing council webiste. Applicants who register via the online registration process at HEC can download their Roll Number Slips a week before the exam date via http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
Registered applicants will receive an e-mail / SMS about the date, time, and location of the test. Candidates must provide a valid email / mobile number when filling out the online registration form.
Roll number slip print-out and original CNIC will be necessary to enter in the examination center.
How to Register for HEC Law Admission Test LAT
- Visit the following link: http://etc.hec.gov.pk for online registration.
- If you face any difficulty in filling the online registration form, please send an email at [email protected] or visit HEC Secretariat or regional centers for guidance. Exam fee is Rs. 500/- which will be deposited online/ATM or through bank draft in the Account No. 17427900133401, Account Title: Higher Education Commission, Bank: Habib Bank Limited, Branch Code: 1742
- Applicants are required to submit a copy of the fee deposit slip/bank draft through courier or personally at Room No-212, 2nd Floor, HRD Building before the last date.
- Please mention your CNIC number at the back of the deposit slip/bank draft. The examination fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Applicants may select any examination center from the list available in the application form. Please note that the examination center will not be changed after registration.
Last date for online registration is 21st July, 2020.
