Exams will be held as scheduled, Education department
Board examinations will be held as per schedule across the country despite a rise in coronavirus cases, Federal Education Ministry announced Wednesday.
The decision was taken in a meeting presided by the Acting Secretary for the Ministry of Federal Education Asif Haider, while provincial education secretaries also joined the meeting virtually.

In a bid to cover the academic loss, the meeting jointly concluded to not extend summer vacation for educational institutions. Furthermore, the meeting also agreed upon resuming educational activities at schools under the strict following of COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The meeting has also given the right to decide about the holding of exams to provincial education departments according to the pandemic situation in their respective provinces.
