NCOC announces decision on reopening of schools
A meeting of the National Command & Operation Center (NCOC) announced on Wednesday that the board examinations will commence and school will reopen as scheduled.
According to reports, no education minister of any province was present in the meeting and the final decision to reopening of schools and holding of the board exams stays with the provincial bodies
The provinces have decided to follow the previous decision, and the government of Punjab will reopen schools from 2 August.

As per the previous decision, the government of Punjab will reopen schools from August 2, concluded the meeting. However, the classes’ timings may reschedule keeping the coronavirus situation in view.
It is pertinent to note that Pakistan recorded an eight percent increase in the COVID-19 positivity on Wednesday.
