AIOU decides to conduct the workshops online

Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU has planned to run the students' workshops online. All Spring Semester workshops are to be performed online. The decision is taken to ensure the safety of students and staff. The university, however, has not yet decided on the workshops for the fall semester.

AIOU has already revoked exams and graduated all students on the basis of their assignment results. Furthermore, the decision on the university's next exams is being considered. The next exams are also likely to be canceled if the condition does not get any better.

AIOU has also extended the date for admission by 5th June 2020 at the latest. Students can submit their admission form through the post office as the main campus and all university regional offices are closed until 31st May 2020.

Last month, Minister for Federal Education Shafqat Mehmood said that the government is supporting Allama Iqbal Open University to help promote remote learning in order to overcome the academic loss during the lockdown period.
