99% of Candidates Fail JEST Test
Recruitment of junior teacher’s test conducted in Sindh, nearly 99% of the candidates failed the exam.
The Sukkur IBA Testing Service conducted the test in partnership with the provincial government only 1,250 of the 162,000 candidates got through.
Former Minister for Education Saeed Ghani disclose that More than 500,000 applications were received against the 46,500 vacancies of primary school teachers (PSTs) and junior elementary school teacher (JEST).

Sindh’s Minister for Education and Culture Syed Sardar Ali Shah was reportedly upset with the results.
“We are recruiting 46,049 teachers. No one will be favored. Among the 14,000 candidates for the position of JSTs, only 1,200 passed the test. Among the failed candidates were a daughter and a son of a secretary”, said Sardar Ali Shah.
