Vocational training to resume countrywide
National Vocational and Technical Training Commission have announced that due to a sharp decline in the COVID-19 cases in the country, the commission plans to resume vocational education gradually.
In the wake of the emergency created by COVID-19 in the country, the technical and vocational training institutes and educational institutes had closed down in March this year.

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training held an interprovincial TVET Ministerial Conference to review the prospect of the gradual reopening of technical and vocational training.
In the meeting, all provinces and AJK and GB participated to discuss the matter was examined in detail. Later, suggestions were also accepted from all the regions and AJK and GB.

The meeting discussed that technical and vocational training doesn’t necessarily need to lead in the classroom. Still, there are many fields where training is provided outside the classes, outdoors and factory sites.
