KMU announces ETEA MDCAT 2020 registration schedule

The Khyber Medical University KMU has released an ETEA MDCAT 2020 registration schedule. ETEA MDCAT 2020 is mandatory for all KP students who wish to be admitted to Medical and Dental Colleges. Candidates can choose any of the cities for appearance in the entrance test on a first-come, first-serve basis.

ETEA MDCAT 2020 is expected to take place on 20 September 2020. Candidates must enter their respective centers at least one hour before the test begins (i.e., by 7:30 AM). The centers will be closed after 08:30 AM.

Test center/hall allocation will be shared via SMS and official website.

Medical University, Peshawar shall conduct Medical Entrance Testing through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) for admission of MBBS / BDS programs in the Public and Private Medical I Dental College / Institutions the Session 2020-2021, on Sunday 20th September 2020 at 8:30 a.m.

ETEA MDCAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

It is compulsory for the candidates to have a domicile of KPK.
An applicant must have completed intermediate / HSSC Pre-Medical Group or Equivalent Examination (e.g., A-Level, 12th Grade, etc.) with unadjusted marks of minimum 65%
Applicants seeking admission in KMU-Allied Health Sciences undergraduate programs with at least 60% marks for DPT and 50% marks for BS Nursing, BS Paramedics, BS Speech & Language Pathology, and BS Occupational Therapy in F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or similar examination should also be included in the admission test.
Syllabus for Medical Entrance Test preparation is available on KMU official website (http://kmuadmissions.pk).
Applicants are instructed to prepare for the exam according to the guidelines of the syllabus.

KMU ETEA MDCAT 2020 Pattern

The Medical Entrance Exam will consist of a single question paper containing 200 (MCQs) multiple-choice questions divided into four (04) parts:
