TikTok has deleted 85,680,819 videos for violating guidelines
The popular video sharing platform TikTok has removed 85,680,819 videos worldwide, about 0.6% of all videos uploaded there, while 46,836,047 videos have been automatically removed.
According to TikTok, videos that violate its guidelines have been removed.
The latest TikTok Community Guidelines Enforcement Report shows Pakistan removed 12,628,267 videos for violating the guidelines during the same period.
Additionally, TikTok's management says that the platform removed accounts it determined to be spam, as well as spam videos posted by those accounts.
As part of its effort to prevent spam accounts from being automatically created, it has also taken some important steps.
In Pakistan, 89.7% of videos that violated the guidelines were removed before anyone could view them, and 95.5% were taken down the next day.
