TikTok and Edkasa are offering scholarships to 18,000 students
TikTok and Edkasa are launching an online study grant program to improve access to quality education. Over 18,000 deserving students will receive online study grants across Pakistan.
TikTok launched a digital learning program to facilitate online education and distance-learning for high school students in September after partnering with Edkasa and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
The “#ExamReady” campaign includes over 500 educational videos. As of today, TikTok educational videos have received over 665 million views and nearly 100 million video creations.
Teaming up with one of Pakistan’s premier educational institutions, LUMS, the duo will further cement the partnership by awarding students with two months of Edkasa’s free studying material and access to an exam pack for whichever grade/board/exam they opt for.
In agreement with TikTok, the online driver of the campaign, scholarships will be awarded according to the criteria and guidelines stipulated by Edkasa and LUMS.
These scholarships are open to students from all over Pakistan who come from underprivileged communities. The main goal this campaign hopes to achieve is to provide deserving students with quality education that they may not have had prior access to.
